Bangalore: Narendra Modi to address rally on November 17

In light of the serial blasts in Patna during a Modi rally in Bihar, the BJP has asked the state government of Karnataka to provide adequate security for the event to avoid any unfavourable circumstances on November 17.

Party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar says, "We hope that the state government takes necessary precaution." He further added,"We cannot forget the bomb blasts near BJP state office (in Bangalore) in April. Some members of the Coimbatore module were arrested in Puttur who planted these bombs as well as carried out targeted killings of five BJP leaders in Tamil Nadu and attacked L K Advani's rally in Coimbatore." He also confirmed that BJP would collect Rs 10 from party workers as an entry fee for the rally.

However, Javadekar did not give any direct answers o questions relating taking back B S Yeddyurappa into the party fold. He said, "I think you have to wait for few more days. Let's see."
